Paul Schapira, an Oxford resident since 2020, was appointed to the township board of trustees on May 20, 2025. He’ll serve until November 2026. Trustee Schapira has almost 35 years of experience in the finance industry. His roles have included commercial lender, private equity investor and turnaround consultant. He’s the founder and owner of Genesis Capital Advisors in Oxford. Outside of work, he volunteers with Oxford-Addison Youth Assistance’s Wildcat Cub Club, a program that connects adult mentors with elementary school students. Trustee Schapira is married to Patricia Schapira, executive director of the nonprofit Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) of North Oakland County.
